Witam wszystkich anglistów!

Przeglądając nota bene bardzo ciekawy angielskojęzyczny blog ([URL="http://www.lackuna.com/"]http://www.lackuna.com/[/URL]) natrafiłam na bardzo ciekawe sformułowanie:

"Translating in English can be one of the most difficult languages for a translator. One of the reasons being our use of multiple meanings for a single word. At times, the meaning can be lost if the wrong word is used; or a translator is doing a word-for-word translation, the context of the word might not make sense depending on the sentence or phrase. Also, in English, if the translator does do a word-for-word translation, it can often sound very stiff (which may happen with other languages as well). (...) A lot of the English speakers have the tendency to convert nouns into verbs. This can create setbacks for translators, as they cannot grasp the conversion as in other languages . And unlike other languages, which often have uncomplicated verb endings, the English language has substantially more irregular verbs."

Co o tym sądzicie? Czy przy obecnym 'zglobalizowaniu się' j. angielskiego przestaliśmy zauważać trudności w jego przekładzie?
