of Mr Cogito
is the game Kropotkin
it has many merits
the game Kropotkin
it liberates the historical imagination
the sense of solidarity
it takes place in the open air
it abounds in dramatic episodes
its rules are noble
despotism always loses
on the big board of the imagination
Mr Cogito sets up the figures
the king stands for
Peter Kropotkin in the Peter and Paul Fortress
the bishops for three soldiers, a guard
the rook for the rescue carriage
Mr Cogito can choose
among many roles
he may play
lovely Sophie Nikolaevna
she in a watch case
smuggles the escape plan
he may also be the violinist
who in the grey cottage

in front of the prison
plays The Abduction from the Seraglio
which means a clear street
however most
Mr Cogito likes
