Witam wszystkich,
chciałabym prosić o pomoc w przetłumaczeniu dwóch poniższych zdań:
Set this way, in terms of the optimal expectations for each of these psychoanalytically informed treatment modes, each employed with the patients deemed most appropriate to it, we were clearly casting the work - and our expectations - still in the era of "widening scope" and expanding ambition, not yet tempered by the retreat from the striving for "perfectibility."

Put this way, this proposition is almost unexceptionable, since it is clear that there can be significantly more change than there is true intrapsychic conflict resolution, on all the varying (supportive) bases through which change can be brought about, as well as properly proportionate change where the change is all or "purely" on the basis of conflict resolution with accompanying insight - if such an ideal type ever actually exists in practice - but it would be hard to imagine real conflict resolution (and accompanying insight) without at least proportional concomitant change in behaviors, dispositions, attitudes, symptoms, etc.
